I don't normally ask or look for help, but this is so far beyond my meager photoshop abilities it's not even funny.
I need someone who can merge a double page illustration spread. Preferably so well that you can't tell the two pages were separate. It goes without saying that you would have to be better than me, though I suppose that's not such a tall order. There are Hands in the spread's gap (I say this with a deliberate capital H), and Shading. I can't offer you anything solid, but if you wish I could include a credits page or summat that mentions you in tones of awed wonder once I get started on this project.
If you feel that you are a bad enough dude (or gal) to undertake this mission, click the jump break and see what needs to be done. Big thanks in advance to anyone and everyone who takes the time to fiddle with this.
I think I've got what I need. Much thanks to the kind soul(s) who pitched in. (˚∀˚)
Click them to see full size images.
Drop me a line if you can do it. Thanks.
It's not much since I only had a little free time, but I managed to fill in a bit of the missing area.

Good luck. I hope you find someone to do the rest.
I'll give it a shot
ReplyDeleteAlright, I think I hit a wall. I'm almost finished, but I don't know what to do with that one finger of her. how does that even get there.
ReplyDeleteHis hand turned out fine, but I don't know what to do with the rings.
I don't read black lagoon, so I'm lacking reference.
I uploaded both the jpg and the psd (with separate outline and fill layers) so you can give it some finishing touches. Also, a few lines might need some quality control.

I might have more time tonight.
That's pretty awesome. Thanks. And I have no idea what the fingers are doing either.
ReplyDeleteBoth characters are novel-only originals so there's no real reference. The guy's rings don't really need to be fancy; just not obviously-a-shoop-I-know-from-the-pixels level. If you're done I'll try and edit the rest, though if you're still going I'm willing to wait. This project's still a ways in the future.
Thanks to you and the other(s) who decided to help, especially since you don't even follow the series.
Ok, my final attempt. Only changed minor details. Don't really know what else to change. I guess from that point on it makes more sense for a second pair of eyes to spot the inconsistencies. It's the least I can do since I enjoyed Bambino a lot. keep up the good work.
