So like I'm not hosting scanlations or anything anymore, and this is late as hell, but fuck it, let's ramble.
Needless to say a ton of spoilers below.

Yonensei
Mediafire Download
This is what Kio Shimoku did before Genshiken.
Most of you may only be familiar with Kio's work through Genshiken, and so are probably more used to his stories being whimsical and comical with brief snippets of seriousness. Truth be told, before he did Genshiken, Kio was known more for his interest in more raw material that had to do with the painful mistakes people make in youth and in relationships. You'll see it more in Gonensei but it's very much present here as well; it appears in Kagerou Nikki and Jigopri as well. Hell, it's even present to a degree in Genshiken as well.
So that's enough for background.
Yonensei is a story about a couple in their fourth year of college, Shima Akio and Soma Yoshino. It goes over the troubles they face in their relationship as they approach graduation. I hope you enjoy it it, and of course sorry for the delay (this should have been out almost a year ago to be honest).
As for the sequel, I will be doing it, but my raws are missing pages so I may not work on it as fast as I'd like. We'll see. Worst comes to worst I'll buy and scan the missing pages myself. I'm currently on the fence as to how I'm going to release it; I'm leaning toward a chapter schedule to make it easier on myself instead of the volume release I went for with this one, as the sequel is five volumes long. I guess I'll sort that out later.
Again, hope you enjoy the story.

Well I guess that's one thing Not-Madarame is better at than Kousaka...
I am really not happy with the editing for this chapter but I did the best I could considering I'm terrible at editing.
And yes, of course the anime movie mentioned is K-ON.

Hobo-1, if you're reading this and plan on continuing Spotted Flower, drop me an email and let me know. I'm just doing this because it looks like you've dropped off the face of the Earth. I tried to emulate your font choices so if you pick up from the next chapter, (probably) nobody will notice.
Anyway, if you read and follow Genshiken, you probably know what this is. If you don't, here's a brief summary: Kio Shimoku, the mangaka of Genshiken, is releasing very short installments of a new series, Spotted Flower,in the thrice-a-year magazine Rakuen Le Paradis. The story is about a married couple who totally are not Genshiken's Madarame Harunobu and totally not Kasukabe Saki, dealing with the events leading up to the birth of their first child.
Hints are dropped everywhere that the couple actually are Madarame and Saki, including in the title itself: the character "mada" as in Madarame means "spotted," while the character "saki," when used as a verb and not a name, means "to bloom." So, yeah. Nobody quite knows why Kio is doing this, but hey, I'm not complaining.
If this is your first introduction to the series and you're interested in starting, you can find the previous chapters easily enough online, both to download and to read online.
Otherwise, enjoy.
P.S. Bet you totally didn't notice that the imaginary son has the exact same hairstyle that Madarame has right now in Nidaime.

About the mention of Ban's accent in this chapter: Ban's Hakata (Fukuoka) accent is actually pretty strong; I tone it down a lot because reading an accent gets really old really fast. Still, it's there, so keep that in mind while you read the bit where the subject comes up. Enjoy.

To be honest, the thing about miso and ojiya crossed my mind too when I first read that chapter years back.

This chapter really doesn't flow that well in my opinion, but it's sort of fluff anyway. The arc proper starts next chapter. Enjoy.

Megu and Eri both call Etsuya "Ecchan" but honestly I don't think it works very well so I took it out. In retrospect, I should have taken out Odacchi as well. Actually, if I could go back in time I'd do this manga without honorifics entirely--I don't really think it needs them. Oh well.
Next arc starts next chapter.
Enjoy.

OH SNAP
This is the end of volume 14.Bambino's going on a little break while the guy who's been kind enough to provide me raws for the last couple of volumes scans volume 15 (please don't link me the raw that's available on the net; they're terrible).
Just got the raws, business will proceed as usual.
Enjoy.

It took me 152 chapters to realize those little filler pages with nothing in particular were meant to alter the page order so that double page spreads aren't followed/preceded by a blank page, or cut in half.
I am shame
