Sort of Hiatus Notice

I'm going to drop by Japan and Korea for about a month to check up on relatives and friends starting May 24th, and I won't have access to Photoshop. This means that Bambino and possibly Genshiken (if I can't get someone to do that one for me) will be on hiatus. I will be taking whatever volume of Baccano I happen to be working on (most probably Bloody to Fair) with me, but in all honesty I probably won't get much of that done, either.

Just an early heads up.

@Anon3- Gimp is not user friendly at all and Spore should enjoy his trip instead of working on editing manga. >__>

  9. You had me at "I'm going to drop by Japan and Korea for about a month to...have access to...much...heads".

I think that's what you really mean right, cause if it is, I'll join you. I would love to have access to much heads, since I don't get a lot of it here.

  10. Have fun on your trip Spore, you certainly deserve it from all the hard work you've done for us.

I've been trying to translate some doujinshi's for a while now, but the kanji's are really giving me a headache. If I know what the kanji is in romaji, then I would be fine but unfortunately they are all in a picture so I can't just copy and paste it to google to figure it out.

Since you are a veteran translator, do you have any tips for me? I need to find a way to convert the kanji's from picture form to a textual form. My kanji vocabulary is very limited so I can't reduce them to hiragana just by looking at them. Is there a program where I can do something like this? Any tips for a fledgling translator like me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance and I hope everything's well for your family and friends in Japan/Korea.
